Assistant Accountant Role

Due to the growth of their finance team an assistant accountant is required, allowing you to work closely with and report directly to the qualified deputy finance controller.

Key responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, draft annual statutory accounts and the annual budget.

This role is perfect for those willing to learn, providing opportunities to develop in other areas such as regulatory reporting.

Essential Skills

  • Worked in the accounts or finance department of a bank
  • Part qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
  • Intermediate Excel (SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, Macros would be advantageous)
